George has studied mediumship with John Holland, Suzanne Geiseman, and in particular he has completed advanced level mediumship training with Janet Nohavec at Lily Dale, NY.

 

George has also taken several courses in Remote Viewing and has been trained in Laying On of the Hands spiritual healing.

​

Before moving to Florida, George was very active in a metaphysical church in Maryland, the Takoma Metaphysical Chapel (https://www.takomametaphysicalchapel.org). He served on the board of trustees, organized the monthly Message Service (which involved lining up mediums and student mediums to serve), gave messages at that service, and taught a beginning mediumship class.

George assumed leadership of Essence of Light Spiritualist Gathering in 2017.

Linda Friedman, our healing service leader, is an ordained hospital chaplain, she volunteers now days at the Villages Hospital. 

 

She is a local wedding officiant. She is a Reiki Practitioner and has integrated Quantum Touch into her auric healing practice.

 

Linda has meditated and lead meditation groups for over 50 years. She studied mediumship with Mavis Patillo for many years. Recently, she has been facilitating spiritual drum circles in The Villages on auspicious dates through the year.

We are happy to have her as an integral member of our team.

 Sharon Gwin has been interested in the metaphysical world most of her life.

 

 Unity churches were her starting point and she found Spiritualism along the way – including trips to Lily Dale and Cassadaga.  

 

She loves to listen to wisdom from the other side and invites others to join our team!

The Nine Principles of Spiritualism

  1. We believe in Infinite Intelligence.

  2. We believe that the phenomena of Nature, both physical and spiritual, are the expression of Infinite Intelligence.

  3. We affirm that a correct understanding of such expression and living accordance therewith, constitute true religion. 

  4. We affirm that the existence and personal identity of the individual continue after the change called death.

  5. We affirm that communication with the so-called dead is a fact, scientifically proven by the phenomena of Spiritualism. 

  6. We believe that the highest morality is contained in the Golden Rule: Whatsoever ye would that others should do unto you, do ye also unto them. 

  7. We affirm the moral responsibility of individuals, and that we make our own happiness or unhappiness as we obey or disobey Nature's physical and spiritual laws. 

  8. We affirm that the doorway to reformation is never closed against any soul, here or hereafter. 

  9. We affirm that the precepts of Prophecy and Healing contained in the Bible are Divine attributes proven through Mediumship.
